Huawei LUNA2000-5-S0​

The LUNA2000 battery storage system is modular, stackable and cascadable. Depending on the number of connected modules, it has a usable storage capacity of 5 - 30 kWh for your household. Your battery is compatible with all HUAWEI SUN2000 inverters. You also have the option of setting up an emergency power function on one phase using a separately available Huawei backup box. Attention! Only emergency power, no backup power! In the LUNA2000 series, the energy optimizers are integrated in every storage module. This gives you the option of adding more modules to your system at any time. The lithium iron phosphate cells can be discharged to 100%, have a high output and meet the highest safety requirements. The LUNA2000 energy storage system has VDE2510-50 certification. Initial commissioning is child's play and time-saving thanks to the FusionSolar APP. Further configuration and maintenance can be carried out easily from anywhere.

A battery management system can be combined with up to three battery modules to achieve a capacity of 15 kWh. In combination with a second power module and 3 additional battery storage systems, you can achieve a storage capacity of up to 30 kWh.

Your Huawei LUNA2000 can easily be mounted upright or on the wall as described in the manual. In any case, make sure that the surface can support the weight. If you do not have the know-how to carry out the installation yourself, make sure that a specialist installs the system for you. As this involves high currents, it is advisable to entrust the task to a professional. However, you can do the installation of your battery on the wall and the work preparation yourself to save costs. If you do not have an electrician, it is also possible to use a partner from our pool. Get in touch with us and we will be happy to put you in touch with a reliable specialist.

How many Huawei LUNA2000-5 kW modules can I connect together?


It is possible to connect up to three storage modules to one control unit, resulting in a storage capacity of 15 kWh. If you need even more power, you can even connect two of these towers together to increase the storage capacity to up to 30 kWh.


Are my batteries modules weatherproof?

Yes, your battery modules are waterproof and designed for temperatures between -20°C and +55°C. The battery modules are optimally protected against rain, frost and moisture and can be used all year round without hesitation. If you use them outside, just make sure they are under a roof.
